Caltrain running after package investigated
By StaffCaltrain was on hold Friday for about an hour outside of San Carlos while police investigated a suspicious package found at San Carlos Station, according to Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn.
A suspicious package was reported around noon and trains were held back from the station beginning at 1 p.m., Dunn said.
The investigation concluded at 2 p.m. and trains are back in service, she said. The suspicious package was found to contain clothing.
Trains had been held at Redwood City and Hillsdale stations and SamTrans provided service for riders between the two stations during the delay, Dunn said. The bus bridge has been canceled and trains are back in service.
