Ransom: SamTrans bus drivers

I wonder why no reporter has asked SamTrans why their bus drivers are not safe enough drivers ("SamTrans: Gate to remain closed to bicyclists" in the Oct. 21 edition of the Daily Journal).

If they cannot safely negotiate a road with cyclists that has no bike lane, then they need to be retrained until they are safe enough drivers, or allowed to go find another job.
