BART delays resolved
By StaffBay Area Rapid Transit trains are back on time after reports of an electrical problem in San Francisco earlier this morning caused delays, a BART spokesman said.
As of about 10:30 a.m., nearly all BART trains had returned to their normal schedules, except for minor delays affecting trains between San Francisco's 16th Street and 24th Street stations, BART spokesman Jim Allison said.
A train operator reported seeing smoke caused by electrical arcing between the Civic Center and 16th Street stations around 8 a.m., Allison said.
The problem caused delays of 15 to 30 minutes, Allison said.
