Civic Center Station reopened after report of person struck by BART train
By Sophia KazmiThe BART Civic Center station has reopened and service through the city has been restored about three hours after a report of a person being struck by a train there.
From about noon to 2:45 p.m. today only the Pittsburg/Bay Point to SFO line was running through the city between Montgomery Street and Daly City. Passengers on the Richmond, Fremont and Dublin/Pleasanton lines trying to get through San Francisco had to transfer to Pittsburg/Bay Point line at Montgomery Street. BART also run a shuttle from the Millbrae station to the Daly City station for passengers traveling in the other direction.
About noon there was a report of a person struck by a train at Civic Center Station. BART and San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene.
