Woman found hours after going missing

A woman who disappeared from her son's home was found Thursday night at the Daly City BART Station, police said Friday.

Virginia Calonsag, 68, of Elk Grove (Sacramento County) was found about 10:45 p.m. at the station after she apparently left her son's home on Coronado Avenue in Daly City sometime between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m., police said.

She didn't take her wallet or cell phone, but took her aluminum walking stick that has her phone number on it. A week ago, Calonsag went for a walk from her Elk Grove home and was later found 2 miles away, face down in a creek.
