SB Caltrain station under repair
By StaffPassengers at Caltrain's San Bruno station and nearby residents may be affected by construction work over the next two weekends, a Caltrain spokesman said.
Crews are scheduled to begin rebuilding the railroad grade crossing at Scott Street through early Monday morning, according to spokesman Jonah Weinberg. The work will continue Aug. 3 through Aug. 6, ending each weekend at about 5 a.m. on Monday.
During the construction, Scott Street will be closed at the railroad tracks between Herman Street and Montgomery Avenue, Weinberg said. Neighbors may hear construction noise during that time, he added.
Also, one track at the station will be closed for repairs Friday evening through early Saturday morning, and passengers for the last north- and southbound trains will have to board from the same platform, according to Weinberg.
