False move

FALSE MOVE - Not long ago, the Oracle of San Bruno, Alice Barnes, chimed in with an e-mail clarifying a report in another media outlet which indicated that a sprawling veterans' cemetery had somehow been relocated from her town north to Colma.

According to Alice, "I am confused. You moved our national cemetery from San Bruno to Colma, and no one announced it was happening. ... I know the property is federally owned, but if it is being converted to condos, you may have a fight on your hands."

Alice, you can rest easy. The moved didn't occur. It must have been an editing error.
