ACORNs want speed bumps, stoplightsBy Staff
San Bruno protesters plan to gather Thursday in San Bruno to call for traffic safety improvements in two locations in the eastern part of the city.
More than 50 San Bruno residents are expected to attend.
They are asking City Manager Connie Jackson to install speed bumps on Third Avenue, as well as a stoplight at Sixth and San Bruno avenues.
March organizer Jose Rodriguez with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now said the intersection at Sixth and San Bruno avenues has been the site of many accidents.
The event will begin at Belle Air Elementary School, 450 Third Ave. in San Bruno at 7:30 p.m.
