Lane closures planned for Thursday

By Staff

The California Department of Transportation will begin pothole repairs on Thursday morning and continue into the afternoon on Highway 101 near San Francisco International Airport, closing some of the lanes of northbound Airport Road and the northbound on-ramp from the airport to I-380/101/San Bruno Avenue.

Lane closures are scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include the No. 4 and 5 and auxiliary right lanes of northbound Airport Road connecting to Highway 101; and the left lane of the two-lane northbound on-ramp from the airport to I-380/101/San Bruno Avenue.

The northbound off-ramp to San Bruno Avenue will be detoured to the North Access Road off-ramp and then back to San Bruno Avenue.

Only minor traffic delays are expected due to the grinding and repaving work, according to Caltrans.
