Annex Brand handing out free stamps

Annex Brand shipping stores in San Mateo County will give away free 1-cent stamps starting May 12 to help facilitate the change in postal rates from 41 cents to 42 cents for one-ounce, first-class letters.
"It's just our way of saying thank you to our customers," Steve Goble, Annex Brand's vice president of marketing, said in a statement. "The free 1-cent stamps will help them finish off their unused 41-cent stamps."
Goble hopes to give away more than 2,000 stamps on May 12 alone.
The promotion will continue throughout the month of May.
Annex Brand stores are located at 1212H El Camino Real in San Bruno and 1279 Linda Mar Shopping Center in Pacifica. |
