Virgin America inks deal with Priceline

Virgin America Inc. meets William Shatner.
The discount airline said it has a new deal with Priceline.com that allows the discount booking site to list Virgin America's fares and flights. Priceline, whose celebrity spokesman is Shatner, competes with other online sites like Orbitz and Travelocity, both of which also have deals with Virgin America.
The deal is meant to give Virgin America's fares wider exposure.
Launched in August 2007, Burlingame-based Virgin America flies to seven cities with daily flights: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, New York and Washington D.C. |
