San Bruno B.A.R.T.

  At Caltrain's Burlingame station today, a new northbound platform will open with the goal of improving safety and the movement of trains.

  Until now passengers heading northbound had to wait on the southbound platform, then cross the tracks to get on their train. Now, passengers will use sidewalks on adjacent streets to get to the other side.

  Conductors and newly posted signs will inform customers about the changes. The new platform features ticket vending machines and a public address system.
