BART up and running again near Fremont
By Henry K. Lee
BART service between Union City and Fremont has been fully restored after engineers cleared an obstruction on the tracks, authorities said.
Trains might still be delayed for a while, BART spokesman Linton Johnson.
Service between the two stations was temporarily halted about 7:25 a.m. today after several cover boards on the electric third rail came off between the two stations, Johnson said. The problem knocked out power to two trains headed to Union City from Fremont.
